Church School Teachers/Rite 13 and J2A Leaders

A very wise and experienced teacher once said, “I only teach those things that I want to learn more about.” Do you love kids? Are you open to the possibility that you can learn more about God from children as you lead them in church school? You don’t need to be an expert in the bible, you just need an open spirit to learn together with children and youth. We at St. Anne’s take to heart that to enter the Kingdom we need to have the hearts of children. Our Sunday school curriculum is easy to follow! Our leaders teach in teams and rotate throughout the year, and we have programs for children pre-school through high school. Our Rite 13 and J2A (Journey to Adulthood) programs are for junior and senior high young people and are based on spirituality and development. Whatever gifts you might give you’ll find no finer use of them than investing in young people. Chances are you’ll learn some new things about yourself and God too.
TIME COMMITMENT: 4-6 Sundays per year, sometimes more, and prep time, Rite 13 and J2A weekly commitment

Adult Christian Formation

Interested in being part of a journey with like-minded adults to explore the spiritual dimensions of your life? Lead a small group discussion, a bible study, or serve on an advisory/brainstorm ministry team to provide for adult formation opportunities. Sunday morning and weekday adult formation opportunities.
TIME COMMITMENT: As little or as much as you’d like

Nursery/Childcare

Give loving care to our infants and toddlers while their families attend worship/formation activities. Assist paid childcare worker.
TIME COMMITMENT: 2 hours on assigned Sunday (5-6 Sundays a year)
