Pastoral Care Team

Would you pray with someone who asks, or be willing to just listen to someone who needs a friendly ear? Are you willing to lend a hand when there is a person in need or visit those in hospitals or nursing homes? Pastoral Care ministers assist our church familyin a variety of ways in times of need and joy. Bring news from the parish, prayers, and for those who desire it, even the sacraments by becoming licensed as a Lay Eucharistic Minister. Training is provided for listening skills, pastoral approaches, and administering the Sacrament. The Pastoral Care minister meets together on the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for an hour.
TIME COMMITMENT: Once a month to regular contact, plus training

Crisis Prayer Chain Ministry

Prayer is at the center of all we are and who we are. One cannot underestimate the importance of prayer. Intercessory prayer is prayer offered on behalf of others. Weekly we pray in our Sunday worship for those who have been named by those who care for them. Join in a ministry of prayer by participating in a prayer chain. When prayer is being asked for others, phone calls are made to invite intercessory prayer.
TIME COMMITMENT: A few minutes for prayer when requested.

Hospitality

“It’s all about relationships.” The common life of people of faith is one that is cemented through fellowship and the building of relationships. The hospitality ministry provides for opportunities for worshippers at Saint Anne’s to enjoy one another’s company. Individuals can assist in this ministry by helping with coffee hour, setting up for Pot Luck suppers, contributing toward the reception on the day of the Bishop’s visit, and helping with Old Saint Anne’s Day reception.
TIME COMMITMENT: Hour per event

Foyers Groups

Meet in small groups with a number of parishioners for dinner and socializing! This is simply for fun, for fellowship, and to get to know one another a bit better. Just a willingness to participate in fun is all that is required!
TIME COMMITMENT: Two hours once a month
