What is a pledge and why should I consider a pledge?
Annual pledges support everything we do at St. Anne’s. It is also another way for you to feel included in our common life. Whether your circumstance allows $1 a week or $100 a week, pledging enables our planning and bonds us together in a common effort to give back to God our best! See "Investing in Our Mission Pamphlet">for more information.
How much should I give?
We believe strongly your giving of time, talent, and treasure is a spiritual discipline that should reflect your loving response to God and be responsibly based on your family's financial situation. The stewardship committee will provide a practical guide for “proportional giving” based on percentages of income. This “proportional” giving is a biblical guide and you are in charge of what you can and cannot give.
When do I make my pledge?
You will be invited by the stewardship committee to prayerfully consider your “giving back” and we will celebrate together the “fruits” of our gratitude on Celebration Sunday, typically celebrated in November of each year. If you are joining us during the year and desire to make a pledge you may contact the church office for a pledge card.
How do I pay my pledge?
Any way you please. Weekly, monthly, or in a lump sum. Checks or cash. You will receive envelopes so that our bookkeeper can accurately account for your payments.
